The mission of Our Place Day Services is to assist all persons to become the men and women that they are meant to be. Members participate in a variety of classes that encourage independence, promote self-confidence, and build community.
Our Place Day Services is committed to following the best practices of Wisconsin’s long-term-care services by helping our members achieve their individual quality-of-life outcomes. We believe that persons with physical and/or intellectual disabilities should be supported to actively participate in making decisions to the extent that they are able and that a guardian or POA should keep their wishes and perspectives in mind when making decisions on their behalf.
Our Place Day Services is committed to the values that all individuals should have choice about where they live, who will assist them, and how they spend their days.
Our Place Day Services is committed to supporting members to meet their own expectations of a high quality-of-life by assisting them to build relationships with people they care about, do things that are important to them, engage in their community, and maintain a stable life. All members will be respected and treated fairly and be given privacy.
Our Place Day Services is committed to supporting members to feel safe and to be free from abuse and neglect and to helping members achieve their best possible health.
